Alicia and Chris – Engagement Sessions at the London Bridge

We recently booked Alicia and Chris for their Spring wedding in Gilbert at the Shanendoah Mill.  Chris and Alicia where such a blast to shoot and where up for any ideas we threw out at them.  It’s really great to shoot couples who are so comfortable and happy just hanging out in their own moments while we capture them!

This was their first time in Havasu, so obviously they had to see the London Bridge while they where here!  After running them all around the London Bridge shops and up and down the channel, we finally ended their shoot out on top of a scenic hillside where they could get a whole view of Lake Havasu to remember their engagement session/trip to Havasu!  Check out some of the highlights from Alicia and Chris’ engagement session.

Chelsea and Drake Unique Engagement Session Lake Havasu City

You may recognize these two from an earlier post a couple months back.  Chelsea and Drake came back for more and this time we really made em work for their pics!  With the water a bit higher than normal the lake was at a perfect level to take to boat back into the caves at Crystal Beach and get some pics we’ve been daydreaming about for a while.  The water was pretty chilly and the outside air wasn’t much warmer so why Jeff jumped in with Chelsea and Drake following I stayed behind to man the boat!

We saw these caves over summer while we where paddle boarding back there threw the tullies and we knew we had to shove a cute couple in there and get some killer shots!  You’d never know it by their faces but it’s a little sketchy in there!!  After getting “the Cave” shots we cruised over to the beach where Drake proposed to Chelsea a few months back and got some truly gorgeous landscape shots that I’m sure will always hold special meaning for them.  What a setting!

Amanda and Eric – Engagement Session Castle Rock and Crystal Beach Lake Havasu Arizona

We met up with Amanda and Eric wayyyyy too early for my creative liking BUT we got some really fun shots!  Guess we can pull it off even before breakfast!  Scheduled in next Summer we will be shooting Amanda and Eric at their Havasu Landing Wedding Location, which will be a first for us  These two where great sports as we ran them all over the Crystal Beach and Castle Rock areas looking for the perfect set up to match their fun spirited personalities!  Check out some of our favs from that bright and early Sunday morning!

Patricia and Richard – Kingman Engagement Session

What can I say about Patricia and Richard’s couples session that will sum up in words the AMAZING photos we got.  I literally wanted to place all of their pics here on the blog as there where seriously no bad ones!  And I mean who gets to have an engagement shoot with a Donkey?  Everyone meet Jake, a sweet little Donkey residing on their 40+ acre ranch in the beautiful hills of Kingman Arizona.  It was a cool Friday afternoon with a crisp little breeze in the air, which really set the tone for some cute snuggling up shots!  This was the first shoot to date this season where we needed hoodies!  From the moment Jeff and I arrived at their home we where in awe of the set up after set up that we saw and couldn’t wait to capture.  I’m pretty sure Patricia and Richard needed naps after we ran them all around.  To top it off these two didn’t need any coaching as their love truly shined through in every shot, Patricia’s smile was so radiant and warm that she truly couldn’t take a bad photo and Richard was such a hansome groom to be in his cowboy hat no wonder she was all smiles

We are super excited for their Summer wedding next year set in the Hualapai mountains and we can’t wait to see what they cook up for their outdoor event!  Check out some of our favorite pics from their session below

Chelsea and Drake – Engagement Session Lake Havasu City AZ

Chelsea and Drake we where so thrilled to shoot you guys!  We ran these two all over town as they where so much fun to shoot and where totally up for anything.  Nothing makes a photographer more pleased and inspired than having subjects that love getting great pics as much as we do!  We can’t wait to work with you two again, lets hope for cooler weather

Ashley and Stephen – Hualapai Mountains Engagement Session

These pictures say it all……Ashley and Stephen took us on a much needed journey into the cool weather temperatures of the Gorgeous Hualapai mountains!  This being our first shoot up there we where so excited to run all around and grab up every photo op that passed our way!  We really like the natural feel of all the scenarios here and they made it easy to take great shots!  Ahsley and Stephen we are so looking forward to your fall wedding in the Hualapais, it’s going to be amazing!
