Chelsea and Drake Unique Engagement Session Lake Havasu City

You may recognize these two from an earlier post a couple months back.  Chelsea and Drake came back for more and this time we really made em work for their pics!  With the water a bit higher than normal the lake was at a perfect level to take to boat back into the caves at Crystal Beach and get some pics we’ve been daydreaming about for a while.  The water was pretty chilly and the outside air wasn’t much warmer so why Jeff jumped in with Chelsea and Drake following I stayed behind to man the boat!

We saw these caves over summer while we where paddle boarding back there threw the tullies and we knew we had to shove a cute couple in there and get some killer shots!  You’d never know it by their faces but it’s a little sketchy in there!!  After getting “the Cave” shots we cruised over to the beach where Drake proposed to Chelsea a few months back and got some truly gorgeous landscape shots that I’m sure will always hold special meaning for them.  What a setting!

Patricia and Richard – Kingman Engagement Session

What can I say about Patricia and Richard’s couples session that will sum up in words the AMAZING photos we got.  I literally wanted to place all of their pics here on the blog as there where seriously no bad ones!  And I mean who gets to have an engagement shoot with a Donkey?  Everyone meet Jake, a sweet little Donkey residing on their 40+ acre ranch in the beautiful hills of Kingman Arizona.  It was a cool Friday afternoon with a crisp little breeze in the air, which really set the tone for some cute snuggling up shots!  This was the first shoot to date this season where we needed hoodies!  From the moment Jeff and I arrived at their home we where in awe of the set up after set up that we saw and couldn’t wait to capture.  I’m pretty sure Patricia and Richard needed naps after we ran them all around.  To top it off these two didn’t need any coaching as their love truly shined through in every shot, Patricia’s smile was so radiant and warm that she truly couldn’t take a bad photo and Richard was such a hansome groom to be in his cowboy hat no wonder she was all smiles

We are super excited for their Summer wedding next year set in the Hualapai mountains and we can’t wait to see what they cook up for their outdoor event!  Check out some of our favorite pics from their session below
